About Solid Waste: Perry County, Tennessee


Perry County’s Solid Waste Coordinator is Tim Trull. The Perry County Solid Waste Department offers a countywide solid waste management system that is built on a foundation of sound environmental principles with collaboration of county departments and municipalities. Residents are encouraged to recycle and compost as much as possible to reduce the impact on the landfill. If residents are unsure what materials are accepted, please call any of the numbers posted for assistance.

The department manages garbage, waste and trash disposal at three locations:

  • Lobelville Convenience Center is located at 1561 Crooked Creek Road in Lobelville. It operates Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m – 4 p.m. The Center is closed on Sundays and all Holidays.
  • The Linden Transfer Station is located at 47 Transfer Road in Linden. It operates Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday 10 a.m. until 6 p.m and Saturdays 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Linden Transfer Station is closed on Sundays and all Holidays.
  • The Landfill is located on Route 13 South in Linden. It operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Saturday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Landfill is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The Convenience Center in Lobelville, the Transfer Station in Linden and the Landfill provide an environmentally safe place to dispose of refuse. The public is encouraged to recycle all reusable items to minimize the impact on landfills.
