The Perry County Library was established in 1975, and had the only location in Linden. Then a branch was established in Lobelville around 2001, and was then moved into beautiful new digs in the new City Hall building in 2012, where they remain to this day.
Nan Garrett is the head of the Perry County Library System, and manages the Linden branch. Kathy Gammon is the librarian at the Lobelville branch, and has done a wonderful job since she assumed the role in Spring of 2022.
