Looking for a family friendly place to go canoeing, kayaking or tubing on the longest unimpounded river in Tennessee? The Buffalo River Resort offers trips from five to eight miles, as well as a 26-mile overnight float (by reservation only). Choose from inflatable or hardshell kayaks, rafts or innertubes; shuttle services are also available for those providing their own equipment.
Want to stay and enjoy the river and the area a while longer? Buffalo River Resort offers a a variety of lodging options including shady rustic tent campsites and RV spots with full hookups; campers have access to a bathhouse with full showers. Want a little more comfort? Choose from cabins with kitchens and satellite TV, or the wonderful Sunset Lodge that can accommodate groups of up to sixteen.
We’re located on one of the quieter and most scenic sections of the river below Lobelville. Enjoy paddling on one of Tennessee’s most beautiful free-flowing rivers or just relax while camping thin the trees along the river.

From Lobelville: From downtown Lobelville head north on Main Street (Tennessee 13) for 2.5 miles; we are located on the right (east) side of the road just past the Buffalo River Bridge.
From Interstate 40: From Exit 143 (Linden/Lobelville/Waverly), take Tennessee 13 south toward Lobelville for 5.2 miles. We are on the left (east) side of the road just before the Buffalo River Bridge.
